    Thanks Dragcity (Joe)!

    Big thanks to Dragcity!

Joe helped my friend Matt out with getting him an X-plan pin number. This past Saturday we went to the old Ford dealership I used to work out. Only a handful of automatic Mustang GT's on the lot to choice from cause my friend has a prosthetic leg so manual is out of the question.

Took this 2008 Vapor Silver Mustang GT Premium for a test drive and I think he knew that's the one he wanted. He traded in his 2000 Procharged Mustang GT (too many mods to list) in for it before anything else broke on it since it had 124,000 miles on it.

Yeah that was a main reason he got the car plus he liked the hood scoop. When I got to the dealership there was a white Mustang GT with the same color racing stripes that had just been painted on. At first when I saw it I thought it was a Shelby with the color/stripes and 18" polished aluminum wheels.

I think it would make for a nice color on a MM but it's one of those metallic colors that has to be in the light to really show off.

My dear old Dad opened the Blasdell Stamping Plant back in 1950. He was a Machinist and Supervisor. Kept the plant running for a good number of years. Retired from work in 1978 and really retired in 1984.

Mom is still able to get the 'Plan'. After that, no more...
