For those that may not be familier with the goings on at a FFW event, you will notice the term "Showdown" Qualifying for Friday and Saturday and Eliminations on Sunday. The Showdown Classes are all of the heads-up racing classes, like Pro 5.0, Outlaw, Drag Radial, Renegade, Bandit, Warrior, and the Open Comp Classes like Mod Motor, Tough Truck, and Focus Frenzy. If you have never seen some of these cars run you are in for a treat. The Pro 5.0 and Outlaw cars alone are worth the price of admission. The record in Pro is 6.48 @ 220 MPH and in Outlaw, it's 7.16 @ 200 MPH. All this with stock body (sort of) Mustangs. Remember that your entry into the event for the MM Corral entitles you to "see it all".

    Crimminy!

What time is everyone planning on leaving? My flight is set for 5:50 p.m. and I will need to drop my car back at Maury's before I go to the airport. Now I feel like I am going to miss out on something.

Hmmmm, what to do, what to do??
