outside keypad how do you disable dome light

how do u disable the doam light when you press the button on the door?

Sorry, but I don't think that you can disable the dome lamp from coming on when the keypad is pressed.

Nope, it's all tied into the automatic lighting system even if you don't have your headlights on auto setting. It's a security valet feature.

my fix take out bulb from dome light.... it has mor eof an ambiant lighting from just the floor

I dont know exactly how I did it but I was putting in my radar detector as a hard wire connection and some how blew the fuse for my alarm...I replaced the fuse and now my dome light does not illuminate when I use the key pad or disarm the alarm....it does illuminate when I open the door and deluminate (word?) when the door closes.
