    Borla Exhaust!

I have seen a few marauders running around with borla exhaust. Is there someone putting these kits together or using off another for model. Anybody with answers please let me kow. Thanks

I have Borla ProXS mufflers and a few members have Borla turbo mufflers. I seem to recall earlier discussions of using a Borla cat back, but I can't remember who's done this.

The Borla cat-back used to be offered for Crown Vics and it would fit. Only 1 member I know of ever installed it. It's no longer available.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
$1800 and it was worse than when he started!

I have the Borla turbo mufflers just put in place of the stockers. They sound great to me. I wish there was a cat back like I put on my TBird back in 2002 (still like new!) but there isn't.

    Sound clips

As I mentioned, I have the Borla ProXS, which are straight-through style (plus Stainless Works headers and custom 2.5" midpipes). Here's a clip of the car's idle with some light rev-ing (click here).

A cat-back system is an aftermarket exhaust upgrade that goes from the catalytic converters back to the tailpipes, which usually amounts to new: midpipes, crossover pipe, mufflers, tailpipes and tips. It's typically sold as a kit for popular sports cars.

I paid about $100 each. They're metallic substrate spun cats.
