    Drive on Kentucky Speedway

On April 18th Kentucky Speedway will let anyone who spends $40 or more in the gift shop a tix to drive around the track for 4 laps. I went back in Nov. and had a blast drivin' the ole MM at 120 on a closed course. If anyone is interested, let me no. I'll try to get a reduced rate for MM owners. If anything we could try and get a group shot on the start/finnish line!!

I was thinking about organizing a meet at KY Speedway. Thanks for getting the ball rolling.

Sounds like a good time and I'll try to make it.

They really let you go that fast? Indianapolis will only let you go about 20 in your own vehicle. I would love to go, I hope I can work it in. It will be hard with a newborn.

Actually, I had just been looking up dates on line. You're the one who gets credit for bringing it up and suggesting a date.

I can probably make the dates you listed. Hopefully others can.

If not, let's find a time what will garner us a large turnout.

Uh not to start ***** but Embassy doesn't plan the Louisville meet...

the person you would need to contact would be MM2004 aka Mike

im all for a closed course but L-ville to sparta ky would take a large chunk of a day to go to do our thing and the only thing in sparta is the track and racers a lower quality racing themed strip joint

    Cool

I'll probably do this whether there is an official meet or not, and then head up to Newport/Cincy for the rest of the weekend.
