    Unhappy New Color

Went to the local LM Dealer this morning. They have no idea what the new color will be. I seem to remember that someone posted that it will be Dark Blue Pearl. This color seems to be what Ford put on the new Lincoln LS, which is called Blue Pearl. If this is the same, then a lot of folks waiting for the blue may not be happy with it. Personally, I think it's a lousy color. Guess I'll go spring for one of the black ones on his lot. BTW, within a 50 mile radius of Newark, De., there are 10 Marauder's sitting on the lots......

    Thumbs down New Color

I saw the true blue version yesterday and the first thing it reminded me of was a Michigan State Police cruiser, does not look good.

Didn't I read somewhere that they were also considering offering a silver MM? What happened with that ?

True Blue and Blue Pearl are not the same color. Marauder will be offered in Blue Pearl only, not true blue.

As for the Silver, it'll be available Spring of 03.

Since it's in the order guides now, the dealer should have known.

The new blue pearl also replaces "Dark Wedwood Blue metallic" for Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis

To be honest, I didn't see the Lincoln LS in sunlight. It was overcast and a rather dreary day. The color doesn't do anything for the car. Maybe that's why it's still sitting on the lot. It's not a nice looking color!

The blue is Pearl Blue Clearcoat Metallic (METAL FLAKES IN THE PAINT) and looks a lot better than standard patrol car blue. My dealer stated that the $2,0000+ $500 REBATE would still apply if you were to order a pearl blue MM on 12/2/02..........

I saw the Pearl Blue on an LS that had just been washed...I thought it looked great!

For me though...the only color for the Marauder is black!

Alot of dealer will "hook ya up" with the factory rebate, as long as you put your greeen on the table and are serious about ordering. A sale is a sale.
