MGP Caliper Covers! Will they fit the Marauder???

MGP has just come out with a cool set of caliper covers that fit Mustangs. They look like they will fit the Marauder and they look much better than painted calipers (plus they reduce brake dust). Anyone know if they will fit??

I don't know if they'll fit our calipers but they won't reduce brake dust, will cause the calipers to run hotter, and IMO it's dangerous having an add-on piece inside the moving wheel.

It's also (once again IMO) tacky as hell.

Watch the video. They state that it will actually help cool the brakes. I disagree about the brake dust. A buddy of mine has these on his Stang. Not only do they look really good (not cheesy at all), but they do seem to reduce brake dust.

Any time you add metal, it will act as a heat sink, and dissipate heat. Of course taking in to consideration the metals ability to dissipate heat, or cold, of which, aluminum is one of the best. Therefore their claim that brake calipers will run cooler, is valid, IMHO.

The transfer of heat is dependent upon the quality of the contact between the two surfaces. How much heat will be transferred between the caliper and the cover attached with clips and a bolt?

Brake dust is created between the rotor and the pads which the caliper cover doesn't cover so I don't even see how it could reduce dusting.

I'm sure that the cover would do a great job screwing up your wheel or cutting the brake line if it comes off at speed though!

+1. Sorry to be negative, but in my opinion if you want the after-market caliper look you should buy after-market calipers.

I wouldn't feel comfortable riding around with those on...Plus I already bought that 7 dollar can of caliper paint.

+1.......I used a wheel etching primer to clean my calipers, and painted them semi-gloss black on my SB. Satin was too flat and gloss looked ricey, semi-gloss looks great and very easy to clean. Prep work is the most important step in caliper painting.

Very Ricey.

I'm 5 years into my painted calipers (Eastwood epoxy kit) and they still look great. No chipping. You can do the whole thing in an afternoon.

THE HEAT ISSUE IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT TO ME, NOR IS THE DUST PROBLEM . HOWEVER ! MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY !!!! PAINT, OR POWDER COATING COMING OFF AT HIGH SPEED WILL NOT HARM MY BRAKES, WHICH I VALUE VERY MUCH. SO WHY ADD ANYTHING THAT WOULD JEAPORDIZE THEM IN ANYWAY ?..."COVERS".....NO WAY
