Thread: Powdercoated engine parts installed.

    Thumbs up Powdercoated engine parts installed.

    I had the following powdercoated to clean up the engine bay's appearance:

    Airbox
    Supercharger pipes
    BBK throttle body and it's bolts
    Coil covers
    Thumbscrews

    Pics of the parts uninstalled can be seen here.

    Installed:









    I am very happy with results.

    I always enjoy the love/hate comments the cam covers evoke. Either way, they always draw people in at car cruises and car shows.

    Their only downside is trying to keep them spotless. They show every speck of debris.


    Eventually, I plan to have the Cobra manifolds ceramic coated.

    I wonder why. I originally got the idea from the old Cobra Jets.

    The intake and TB should also look familar.

    And dont bother ceramic coating the Cobra manifolds, they will ust right through rather quickly, and I speak from experience.
