    3" Fuel Filter Upgrade

    Sold Out!!!

    $42.00 shipped for the first 10 order's

This kit is made to replace the stock 1-1/2" fuel filter with a larger 3" filter setup. It gets rid of the restrictive 90* bends that are attatched before and after the filter that kill's the fuel flow. This is a must have mod for N/A or S/C MM's running the stock non-return style fuel system.
Much like most of my mods I overbuilt this one. I double clamped the lines with the proper fuel injection clamps and used a 3 layer reinforced Good Year hose. The inside of this fuel line is a neoprene tube that is E-85, Diesel, and Vegetable Oil compliant, so their is no need to worry about the possibility of premature failure from the line. The correct 3" filter clamp will be included with the sale.

**The only thing you have to do is unbolt the stock bracket and bend it to accept the larger filter or you can order a 3" bracket from Ford PN# F57Z-9A335-A**

What difference would it make to run just the 3" filter without modifying(hacking up the lines) just my 2 cents. Was an ase mechanic for 15 years for Ford and that doesn't look too safe just my opinion.

And all you have to do is cut the old lines and bend bracket or get the 3" bracket? That's it?

All you need to install the filter is an 8mm socket and a razor knife
I took the bracket off and bent it with a crescent wrench on my bench vise

I have run it since my FP swap. The one installed in the pic is my MM.
I have had no problems because I used the proper fuel line. This liner will not swell or breakdown from gasoline or pressure it is 100psi rated. This kit wil come with double clamps on all connectors, mine has only one clamp at the fuel filter. This is good enough for my MM, but for the member's I WILL NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH IT. Like I said I overbuilt this kit

It's E-85 compliant, that says it all

Your taking out the rubber lines bends that have been known to starve restrict or sometimes collapse. The larger filter stores more fuel.

This thread has gotten some attention!

Here is why this mod is so great. It gets rid or the restrictive bends before and after the fuel filter. It shortens the length of time it takes to get the fuel from the tank to the fuel rail's.
Remember were running a return less style fuel system.

Here is a pic of the small 90* bends and the factory line that is prone to collapse.

I got this pic from Zack's thread. Look at the diameter of the connectors and the high quality factory line that WILL eventually fail.

    Now on to the cost.
    The filter is $11.99
My fuel line $10.00 for 18"
    The FI clamps $12.00 $1.50 X8
    Expedited Shipping $7.00

    Total: 40.99

    Where is my profit?
I know, there is'nt one... But as I have said for years now, I don't do this for money. I do it for the LOVE of Marauder's

Many can attest to this fact. Check my friends list and PM anyone there. Or check out my 100% positive feedback.

So is this a one time sale or will your vendor forum be up soon? That way we can order these from you.
