Why did you convert the suspension, and how do you like it?

    BTW, AWESOME PRICE

What size front and rear tires are on the car in the pics? I am just curious because I am gathering tire size/fitment data for my upcoming tire purchase. It looks like the rears must be taller than stock?

Good luck w/ your sale and thanks for any info you can give me on the tires

Suspension was converted because one of the factory airbags was leaking. I don't like air suspension, so it is now passive (P71 CV) and will outlast the airsuspension.

I have 235/55s in the front and 255/60s in the rear.

After driving it to work today... don't really know if I want to sell it. I have to get on the Vette forums and see how a C5 is for daily driving.

I love my '77. It's loud, it's fast, all the hippie chicks dig it. But it sits idle, like a nerd at Senior Prom. The Marauder to me is safer, more reliable, and all around just plain more fun.

    I hope ^this^ (a cooler head) prevails.

    Seriously.

I mean, it's your checkbook and you can/will do what you want with it, but...ugh, a VETTE?

This has nothing to do with Ford vs. Chevy; it has to do with everyone and their mother having/wanting Corvettes, them not being suitable for daily driving, parts costing way more, insurance being more expensive...etc. Not to mention, if you pull into a car cruise with a Marauder, you'll probably be the only one there with one (unless you pre-arrange a meet with someone here).

Your price on the Marauder is too low, anyway!

The Marauder is a perfect family car. Very safe. You should keep it I think.
You'll never find one that was kept up like you have with that one.

BTW - what exact model of Dynomax Mufflers did you install? Does it drone at all at ANY RPM?

All very good points, and I appreciate the input. For the difference b/t the Marauder and C5, I could easily get a trilogy s/c and some other bolt ons!

As for the mufflers, I went with the Dynomax Ultraflow SS series. I have 4 inch delete tips too, but will wait to put them on for now.

Keep the Marauder. Women will see you in a Corvette and think that you are small.
