    rear axle seal

    i have a leaky rear axle seal, I took the diff cover off and took that pin out, but I cant seem to get the axle far enough in to take the c clip out, I did not take the rear disk off do I need to do that, I just dont wana bash it too hard and it seems really stuck.

    You will have to back the parking brake off to get the disc off, remove the ABS sensor (10MM bolt) then you will have to turn the axle so as to index the wheel studs backs on either side of the parking brake hardware so as you can slide the axle in far enough to remove the "C" clip.

    Thanks, i never thought of backing off the parking brake lol duh,
