    Sway Bars...

Away if this has been asked several dozen times... The search function ing hates me...

It's my understanding that a sway bar effectively "pushes" up on the "underused" side of the car's suspension during a turn...

Can the airbags in the back of the Marauder handle that extra "weight" being transferred to it if you get a stiffer sway bar in the back?

I don't recall this question ever being asked.

But, my answer would be "yes".

As the your car turns and body roll begins to compress the suspension the sway bar (anti-roll bar to be exact) pushes up on the compressed suspension keeping at level as possible.
As for the air bags in the rear of a Marauder they can handle it just fine. When engineering a part any part especially for suspension you have to take into consideration the most realistic stress a part will endure. Something like an suspension air bag would be designed under the guidelines of.... Lets say a family of obese people went on vacation, the airbags must be able to hold them, their luggage in the trunk and the road conditions such as potholes.

well if right now when you go around a turn with the factory sway bars the bag on the outside of the turn has most of the pressure on it. by adding a stiffer sway bar you would be reducing the pressure on the same bag because more of it would transfered to the inside bag.

i have front and rear sway bars and they are well worth the money!
