was "smoker's package" (ashtray cupholder insert) an option on 300A's or did they all

Ryan (offroadkarter) commented on my 300A having the cupholder ashtray removable insert, as being part of a "smoker's package". Did 2003 300A's all have the ashtray cupholder insert, or was it an option that had to be ordered that way? Car was 1 owner before me and has no evidence of being smoked in but Ryan's comment got me to thinking. Just curious

I have no clue but I have always wondered this myself. I was pondering getting one just so that my car was "complete" if they were supposed to come with one.

My 04 had one that was included. I just put my spare fuel cap key in it.

Yep, it is not listed as a separately priced option on the window sticker. Mine came with the cupholder ashtray (if you can call it that) and the lighter for the dash.

They came in Mustains and many other FoMoCo cars as standard equipment back when the cars were new.

I took my "standard" and opted it out to the dealer before driving off the lot by taking it out and telling the salesman to "catch" before leaving the lot---
