    wider front wheels?

I didn't see anything in my search, but I didn't look through all of them.

Anyone looked (or tried) to see if a wider rim will fit on the front and still allow steering at full lock with out crazy amounts of rubbing?

Just curious, why would you want or need wider fronts?

I was parked next to my buddies BMW (whose wheels are probably twice as wide as the stock Marauders) and I thought it looked great.

Never been a fan of tall narrow tires and next to his, the Marauder wheels looked kinda weak.

Is your car 03 or 04? If it doesn't have TC you might try running the rear size at all 4 corners. Also, you could see if someone with the wider rears will let you try them on your front.

I have 285/50's on the rear want to try them? Mine are on stock rims, and I don't think they will work, I've been thinking about 265/45's on the front, but I'm afraid they are too big also.

I've heard that that 9 inch wheels will fit in the front without rubbing.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

Yes, you can run 18x9 wheels if you get a offset higher than ET40.

This is true, too. But I knew a member who widened a pair for the front to 9 inches with no problems.

He wants just wider tires not bigger sidewalls
