Interesting comment about the quiet exhaust. The folks at Ford who worked on the exhaust told me that they were only 0.25 db below the legal limit.

    Same here !!!

Vortex, Thanks for posting up the article.

Tied for 6th on the list. I see three possible vanity plates suggested from the article .... CRUISER, BRUISER, and ENIGMA.

Nice to see that some of the MM pioneers get some recognition with "..visiting the 10s frequently".

Personally, I like how the Marauder exhaust sounds. It's not too loud at cruising speeds and it roars when you put the pedal down. Last year when I had it at a Dyno-day, I had my first opportunity to hear it rev up when the engine was under a load and it sounded mean.

Besides, one time when my wife was driving it, she was parked near some VW tuner kids that were talking and revving their engines, when she started the Marauder up, they both stopped what they were doing and looked at it.

I would say that is successful factory exhaust tuning.

It's funny how anyone that has to sit in the back seat after losing out to the ole "Shotgun!" call, allways comments after sitting in the back "Wow! This is nice and comfy! Roomy!". Never been in the back myself, don't plan on it either!

Yeah, I always think it sounds the same as the CV, you barely notice it.
But one time I had it backed up to a wall and started it and the sound bounced back and I was all *holy crap, was that my car?!*
