    Hey all!

Yes, I am Alive! So much to share!

Hand washed Matadore Red Sport, parked it in 62 degree sun, and waxed top. Hood, and trunk and top of sides. Cleaned wheels, and tires.

Recieved not one but two compliments this evening. Filled with premium, now down to $3.17 (.45 cents cheaper than last week.)

Funny, that’s what I did yesterday, along with fix the drivers side door actuator, but I doubt it looks as good as yours! We’re way down to a bargain $3.60 on gas.

I was shocked to find the paint on the top of the drivers side mirror starting to peel. On careful inspection, I also found rust (and no paint at all) in the bottom of both roof drain channels over the rear doors.

Finally, I found that the door edge guard on the passenger rear door has rubbed the metal clean over a 2” spot on the wheel well of the passenger rear. I pulled off the door channel and the problem is the door is too tight there.

Don’t know if I can adjust the hinges. All this time I never noticed. The car needs to be painted; the black has always looked like **** from day 1. God knows what that will cost; been 30 years since I painted a car.

But, on the other hand, it’s running great now.

Damn, wish my headlights were that clear! Also wish I’d kept my original grill rather than selling it to Zack. Looks very good there. Nice work!

I drove it. It's been done for just over a month and I've fallen in love all over again. I have no idea how to put pics on here anymore, everything has changed. 14 degrees timing, 14 lbs of boost. I wanted to stay conservative till spring. 665rwhp....594tq. I've been working on her for 7 yrs now and only put 2000k miles on her in that time frame. She spent most of the 7 yrs on jack stands.

We made this for my brothers CVPI.
I still prefer working with metal, but it came out halfway decent.

What did you do to your car today?

Decided to bring her down and uncover it last night. Went out to dinner and same again tonight. Can’t really say I missed it all that much? Now if I took this current power train and dropped it into maybe a ‘63 1/2 Galaxie or a ‘29–‘31 Model A Tudor, or maybe a ‘68 Torino, or F100, maybe a custom ‘50 Ford, or???? Just something cooler.
