UHP?????? Help me on this one..
I installed an Audiophile CD-6 head unit from a 2006 Escape. Simple swap, took less than 10 minutes, and the improvement in sound quality is remarkable, especially in bass response. I highly recommend this upgrade - cheap, simple, and it makes a truly noticeable difference in sound. All the steering wheel controls work perfectly. Lots of write-ups on the site about this swap - try it, you'll like it!

Not today, but a couple of weeks ago: Dropped front bumper cover, stripped, repainted and had hood repainted to get rid of rock chips. My BLUE is more georgeous than before.
I can't hear the noise in your head. Please keep it that way.
I think it stands for "Ultra High Performance."

I got my first set a couple years ago to replace OEM rears. Have been very pleased with the performance, as well as the looks. Got 40K+ miles out of them, which is more than 2X what I got from the BFGs.

I sat here reading all these posts about bigger this...positive displacement that...should have bought a Marauder!
Found the reason for my hard re-starts. The IAC gasket was cracked and leaking. Some silicone to seal it and it fires up everytime like a champ.
Trannys fluid and filter changed, $200.00. Small leak where shifter mechanism goes into the drivers side of the tranny case. Will repair after MV9.
Installed the new fuel filter/hose/clamp kit. Didn't go as smooth as expected but seems to work OK. Filter size was not OEM, as ordered, they gave me a purolator instead. Next time I will use the big fat filter. Should mate up better. Had to loop the hose on both sides to keep from kinking. Don't flame me, I can screw up a soup sandwich.
Tonight I tackle replacing the idler pully. Oh joy.
Well, everything is disassembled and the new pully is on the bracket, ran out of light, complete the task tomorrow and maybe this will cure the "walking belt" issue I've been plagued with these last couple of years.
Replaced both idler pullys and some worn washers, found alternator brackets a little loose, awaiting new belt, should be in tomorrow AM. Jason, my auto mech #2 Son, found where the pully was cutting a rut into the alternator bracket, nice 1/2moon shape. Hopefully we fixed this. We put a coat of bright paint on the groove to check later if it's still rubbing.
Cheers,
