How universal are Ford center caps?

Given the scarcity of the real MM wheel center caps, I've been looking at other Ford caps, ANYTHING more interesting than the flat bland piece of plastic I have now.

Can anyone vouch for whether or not center caps from Mustangs in the 99-04 range or 05-09 range especially, or really any modern Ford, will fit with our rims?

Personally. I would just bite the bullet and spend the extra money on the real deal. I cant imagine anything but the real deal. Good luck on your search.

I've found some real cheap tri-spoke caps from a 05-09 Mustang, I think I'm gonna try to photoshop it to see if it'll look ridiculous. That's why I had Mustang fit in mind in particular.

They're intended for the Bullitt rims and will not fit. *None of the center caps for the Bullitt style rims will fit.

I know of what I speak.

The last one's true part number is e3tz-1130-a and lists for $24.08. (The engineering number is shown above.)
BTW, I have one of the 1w7z-1130-ab.
    (#6178 in black per FPIC)
Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

    Paula Babineau 1/9/67-8/2/11

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Joe, does that plain one fit? If so, I'll have to get me some, kinda personalize them.

Paul T. Casey - Joe, does that plain one fit?
Yes ( it fits ) *Found a set that I had stashed from back in the '80's.

HOWEVER ... At $24.08 each ( as per RoyLPita ), I'd recommend you get a set of these for your personalize effort(s) ...

    for $41 ( for 4 ) from .....

    www.wheelsandcaps.com <<<<< -click-
*They're plain aftermarket replacements for the LX Sport center cap ( which fits the Marauder rim ... *.pic' above ).

*Caveat - Provided for your consideration; have no interest nor association with the sellers.
