    Decklid Designs gone!

    Need some help.

After my Marauder got rear ended, I removed my 'Decklid Designs' trunk cover, which luckily had survived the impact.
I now have a new OEM trunk lid and I want to re-install the "MARAUDER" trunklid cover.
Unfortunately, it seems that 'DecklidDesigns' is out of business.

I needed to confirm the drill hole size needed for the push plugs.
Does anyone still have their 'Decklid Designs' install instructions?

Also, I was trying to get a new set of dark charcoal grey push plugs.
The original grey push plugs look great, but are torn up from pulling them out.
I don't want to use PepBoys shiny black plastic push plugs.

Anyone know a supplier for these?

I believe they are 1/4 inch holes. Go to a FLAPS and look at the Dorman parts selection. You should find something compatible.

That ^^^^ is my recollection, too. I got my "pushpins" at Lowe's Home Improvement. The FLAPS pin ridges were brittle in cold weather and were stripping off instead of holding tight. The Lowe's pins were much better.

I have recently come into a trunk lid liner and was wondering how to install it....there are no holes in the trunk lid......are we supposed to drill holes in the trunk lid to install these or does it on some special way.

Yes it does require drilled holes. Be really careful not to "ding" the underside of the trunk.

Use two people to hold the liner in place, mark the holes, drill 1/8" pilot holes (wrap tape around the drill about 1/8" from the end to control the depth or use a stop), drill the holes using the 1/4" drill, position the liner, push in plastic push rivets.

I forgot about the 1/8" pilot holes. We did it the same way. Good point.
