Been away for a long time, missing the local events.
Anybody up for a mini-meet, grab a drink at Hooters or something?
thanks,

Hi Russ, glad you decided to return to the fray. Nice avatar, but methinks someone will complain.

When in doubt, GAS IT! This will either fix the problem, or end the suspense.
Hey Paul,
long time no see... my cousin will be visiting from France in August and I'll be taking her and the boyfriend up to Montreal via New England... will definitely have to stop by for some crab rolls up your way.
When is your next South Florida trip?

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.
Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.
Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.
IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.
I hear ya. Try to catch up with me on AIM if you are still on in the evenings.

We're always up for a meet. Where were you thinking?
doesn't matter to me, name a place and time and I shall be there.
this weekend I'll be participating in a charity event: the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge
the only 5k completely under water in NYC.

Wouldn't mind going up to the Chatter Box in Sussex Cty. It's at the intersection of Rt. 15 and Rt. 94. Not to far from the minor league ballpark. It's like one of those '50's type car hop restaurants, but you eat inside. How about May 8 or 15th?
yeah that works for me, haven't been to this place yet... but the name itself is peculiar
I keep calling my cousin in France a chatterbox so getting a picture with a restaurant sign will be a must for me... assuming they have one
either date is good for me at this point, but lets lets chat closer to the actual day
see ya!
Those of us who hung around Seaside Heights, NJ, years ago are very familiar with the name Chatterbox.
The Chatterbox was a watering hole directly on the boardwalk featuring live entertainment (in many forms).
I'm taking my 2003 TBird to the Sussex County Chatterbox some night. (If she's running OK, I might take my 64 Galaxie instead.)
You guys may want to consider meeting at the Saturday night carshow held every week in Lyndhurst NJ, at the Whiskey Cafe, 1050 Wall St West.
But, you need to be there early or you'll never get a parking spot.
I used to go to Whiskey Cafe every Saturday some 5 years ago... we used to have a whole group of Ford/SVT folks show up... so much so that the classic car guys didn't like people with new cars coming as much... Love that show, always tons of cars to see and just as many bikes... music, trophies, etc.
It does get boring though... so I'll only go if I know someone else is going.

PS. Be aware of the Lyndhurst finest patrolling the roadway leading to the cafe... always someone showing off, and always someone getting a ticket on a Saturday night
I'm subscribing.

Come to think of it I believe the Sussex Cty Chatterbox has a weekly car cruise nite. If memory serves it may be Sat nites. Not sure when the first one of the season is but we went a couple of times last year.
