Wow....that's...a car, alright. It has a few good things going for it I guess. The 4 lung nut option. Bumperettes. Dual wiper option. Paint.
What are you going to do with it?

Heck I'd go with a wagon then. I don't know why, but I've always wanted a hot rod wagon.

fairly stock carbed small block with a single turbo. enough to run low 11's and crack 302 blocks. and i'll get the same reaction that you guys are given when i pull up to somebody.

and i do like these cars. when i was startin driven i had a 72 mach1 with a 351c and a 4speed and my dad said hell no you aint driven that and gave me a 82 4 door fairmont to drive. i tried everything in my power to blow that car up and it never let me down. even went to the track with it lol 19.50 at 70mph was the best.

My Mom had a '79 4 door....Dark green metallic with the tan interior,
It was slowwww with the smogged 3.3L I6/auto.

But, those Fairmounts/Zephyrs were lighter than Fox body Mustangs....heck they were tin cans!
A good strong 351W stroker motor would make them a killer sleeper.
