    Marauderville 8 - Lasting Memories




    I'm sure we're all still reliving our amazing experiences from MV8, and will for some time to come! I can't thank the Carolina Marauders enough for taking on the task of creating such a wonderful time for us all. Lead by Rex (SC Cheesehead) and Tom (MarauderMan) along with Jim (fastblackmerc), Russ (03MMMonroe), Phil (dakslim), Russell (frdwrnch) and Eric (vonirkshtine), the team spent many hours and traveled many miles to plan an awesome event for us that showed off the Charlotte area and highlighted NASCAR. It was a pleasure working with this dedicated team and they have certainly raised the bar.

    Little did I think that my first ever trip to Texas for the "Marauder Round-up" in September 2003 would be just the first of many wonderful get-togethers with great people.

    The events at at MM VIII were way beyond memoral. I cannot begin to express our gratitude to all the planners and organizers. Meeting all the people we knew only by screen names was excellellent. Our thanks to all.

    Terrific, the best MV I've been to. Everything was super, oops, except the caravan travel to the different event. The events were all great, the people were all great, etc. Thanks Tom, Rex and all.

    We (Carolina Marauders) are so thrilled that everyone thinks of our event the way they do. We had a wonderful time putting it on and enjoying your company as well. I truly miss it all and that includes all my new friends.

    You Betcha!! I was supposed to meet Tom and Kathy at the first Marauder Roundup in TX in 2003 but they weren't able to make it at the last minute. We've been cyber friends since then and first met up at MV4!
