That car is 100% bada$$, as was the predecessor to it.

Dealing with bigcowl-imp from a previous sale ...
    • B-pillar trim panels
      • was told that they were mine ( as part of buying several items ). When it came time to deliver them was told that they were sold to someone else. *Impalaslayer got them, however, they were broken and of no use.
Since it was a package price, he did offer me the door seals ( which I did take on the assumption that SOMETHING was better than NOTHING ).
    • rear seat shelf tray
      • was told that it came-out of a Marauder. Have since learned that it is out of a Marquis. So what? The Marquis version does not have speaker grilles.
    • sill/scuff plates
      • "forgot" to bring them when we met half-way for delivery. *Said that he would ship them.
      • when I received them, one was missing and two had broken alignment pins. *His reply "What's the problem".
      • after persistent PMs was told that replacements would be shipped.
      • NEVER got them and no response to PMs.
    • front and back Light Flint seats from a 300B
      • was told that they were "mint" and just needed some cleaning.
      • recanted "mint" condition the day before the half-way, meet-up, pick-up and noted that the bottom cushion had 2 small tears and that $20 would be knocked-off the package price.
      • at pick-up the seats needed MORE than "some cleaning", however, forgave that.
      • inspection of the rear seat bottom cushion revealed five tears and two were non minor. "What's the problem." OK ... forgave that.
      • after taking the package home, cleaning the front bucket seats revealed two tears. *Dirt hid them. Sent a PM noting that I was taking the seats to get an estimate for repair. No response.
      • got an estimate of $160 to repair both front bucket seats and the rear seat bottom cushion. *No response from PM.
      • after two weeks of no response, I had the seats repaired for $140. *Sent a PM requesting $70 -and- the sill/scuff plate replacements.
      • after another two weeks was told that I had damaged the front bucket seats when I cleaned them. *I replied with detailed steps that I took to clean the seats as well as the bill and comments from the shoppe that repaired the seats.
      • no response ...
    • In general ...
      • pic's do NOT accurately reflect item(s).
      • dealings are disorganized.
      • doesn't deliver as advertised.
      • VERY POOR packaging on anything that is shipped.
      • SLOW to respond.
      • responses are of the nature - What's the problem ? -or- You caused the probem.
I don't feel that requesting for broken and missing part replacements and the repair cost of the front bucket seats ($70) is unreasonable.

And YES ... I have all of the PM correspondence regarding all of the above.

Additional information from another MercuryMarauder.net member that has bought items from bigcowl-imp -
All the VIN stickers were removed ...

Joe are you still mad because i proved you wrong ?
Did you take your bipolar meds today ??

Do you want me to prove you wrong again or should i just go find the link ?

From now on maybe you should stay out of my for sale adds and you wont look so bad or i will do the same to you...

Heres pics of the seat bottom that he said had rips in it. But yet he said he did not see them till after he scrubbed them..if there where rips i would have showed him and taken pics just like the problem with the back seat.
If you didn`t like them when we met up then you should have not bought them......But you liked what you saw because there were no rips so you bought them..

Heres a pic of the package tray that he says is not from a Marauder but yet i took it out of a Maruader.....again if you didn`t like it then why did you buy it ??
