    WAY overpriced junkers, lol!

Check out this website, http://www.daves-classic-cars.com/ and look at the prices for "classics" and "muscle cars", lmao! I've never in my life seen this many hunks of junk in one place with such outrageous prices. Unreal.
    Here's a sample, lol.

It says it is in excellent shape, only 20 thousand!!

Looking at the pic, seems to be missing a part or two. What part of "excellent" am I missing?

Their 80's cars are in way better shape for way better prices. They have a pretty nice T-Bird turbo coupe for $1000.

Honestly, for old car win, I just go here: http://www.automaniacs.com/ClassicCars.htm

Best part for me, I live like 20 minutes away from all those beauties.

Sometimes a VIN number off a rare optioned car is what makes these cars worth something. Imagine you have a 70 Chevelle with a 6 cylinder. You put in everything from bumper to bumper to make it exactly as a true Chevelle SS. Problem is that the VIN will always make it a V6 car. Now you find a trashed rare optioned real SS from this guy. All you have to do is swap out the VINs and register your V6 as a true Chevelle SS. Plus you can sell it for real Chevelle SS prices.

Something tells me the only thing rare on that lot is common sense. I can't believe the ones that are marked sold, are you kidding me? Someone close to me in Virginia just got *******ed prison style for a craptastic green Firebird, cause it says where the ultimate destination is.

I watched a show last night where they pull a car from their desert junkyard, restore it, and then auction it. I almost soiled myself when a fully restored 1970 Olds 442, with a NEW engine, went for only $14k... They only expected to get $12k. Huh? I know they made plenty of them, but still seemed pretty low.

Desert car kings, last week they sold a 65 T-bird with new paint and interior for only $5500.
I was shocked a 70 442 with a new 455, paint, interior and a his/her shifter only went for 14K! They gave it away.

I wouldn't mind having that AMC Rebel Machine as a project, but not for $5000.

On the real bad ones all you are paying for is the VIN. You cut the firewall out with the VIN plate and basically build a new car around it and thats totally legal (and not really a problem). Then you sell it on Barrett-Jackson to some sucker for 125k.
