Hey Paul~ Scott Levine always told me to go with Performance Friction Brand pads. AutoZone or Advance Auto carries em.

These are the pads I run on the Baer kit, and they work well. Good intermediate pad (stop decent when cold, or warm) They run about $38 a pair. Hope this helps.

Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Hey Mike, went on line at Advance to get a set of pads for my 91 Chevy van, saw the ceramic's on sale for 23.99, reg were 38.99. Called the local Advance and he did not have them but could order them cause the warehouse still had a set. He did however say they were discontinuing the Performance Frictioin Brand and that is why they were on sale. Advance may be going out of the Performance Friction Brand business.

    OBTW, howdy Paul.

Making a selection of brake pads for a daily performance driver hasn't been easy expecting best results. We all seek the shortest stopping distance in all conditions noise free no dust & long wear. I have had only OEM & Hawk HPS. Unless I hear some convincing info I will go with OEM in the future. I have no clue what oem were made of or what part number.
2004 marauder black purchased new. Sold 9/16 at 297,000 miles. Still ran strong didn't burn a drop of oil.
2003 marauder black 28,000 miles all stock. Garage Queen.
