Im calling it the 20/20 because at 20mph and 20ft away it looks great.
Its the Ebay aftermarket spoiler that's been on my car for the last 4 years. I found a new OEM spoiler under the Christmas tree this year and it was finally painted and installed yesterday so my old spoiler is useless to me.
The Good....
The paint is in great shape. It also has about 10 coats of wax on it and its still a deep glossy black.
The Bad....
Its fiberglass so it's not perfectly smooth like the OEM ABS plastic one is and you can see the fiberglass grain depending on how the sunlight hits it.
The Ugly....
On the back ridge of the spoiler is what looks like bumps and imperfections in the spoiler. This is NOT a show car spoiler.
Why you want it....
If you were to sand it down to smooth it out and re-paint then it would be perfect. Its not a total basket-case and can be brought to perfection if you have the means or the cash to wanna invest in it.
OR....
If you own a Marauder, Crown vic or a Grand Marquis that is a daily driver and you don't particularly care about what it looks like up close, but just want a spoiler on your car then this is perfect for you. I got frustrated cleaning the entire car and have the imperfect spoiler ruining the look. Some people may not care, but I'm a bit crazy with the details of the car.
The price....
$75 shipped to your door, included are the Ford instructions with templet for installation. You can mount it using 3M double sided tape or it can be screw mounted to your trunk lid. When my new OEM spoiler was installed I was told that the holes in this spoiler lined up with the OEM holes so that was a relief by not having to drill more holes in my trunk.
I tried taking pics of the imperfections, but the camera isn't picking them up so here's a few pics of it on the car. You can't notice the imperfections unless you really get up close to it, but they are there!
