To follow up on the cooling mod

When I originaly did my cooling mod it was this time last year.
After I inspected the parts I was disapointed to say the least.
Here is the original thread I wrote:
    http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forum...ad.php?t=63462

I was dissapointed that the kit was only 1/2" diameter hose and well being myself, I thought I gotta fix it! so I made mind 5/8" diameter hose. The more fluid you can move the better. The kit also came with a weld in bung (much like the competition) and after pricing in taking it to a tig welder and redoing the powder coat I figured that would cost a boatload. Then I thought about trying to use a rod and MAP gas, but you gotta buy the MAP kit, then teach yourself how to braze. Now in all honesty I can tig and braze but this is suppose to be something a regular Joe can do..... Right? Tig welders charge because it takes time, brazing for a first time is also not a very easy task and WILL take more than 1 rod for a beginner

I ended up putting the entire kit in the trash, with the exception of the fittings. That's where the gold is, they are regular 1/2" NPT so you can get as wild as you like with hose diameter 5/8, 3/4",1". Were cooling cylinders here so dont attempt to do it with 1/2" hose.

I have been in close contact with "The Authorized Manufacturer" or these connectors and will offer them in a kit.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE KIT AND WANT JUST CONNECTORS THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE!!!

Can you move this up a few weeks? I have a set of Comp Cams (biggest they make) I need to install in about 4 weeks and this would come in handy. Are you also demoing the degreeing and using lower sprockets to adjust if necessary?

I will try but , i've been a little busy and then to boot I got MMBLUE's Marauder and new engine delivered today. I'd be nice if he had a set, considering I have an engine on a stand. He tried to get my set but the 96 intake cam's are almost impossible to find.

I had a talk with an old friend of mine at JL Audio today. I think I'm gonna start suppling the lineup as well. The 6.5" sub is very impressive in our stock enclosure and they also carry 5x7 and 6x9 in both coaxial and component's

I used to swing from JL's nuts all the time cause I got their stuff 65% off from the company I worked for plus it was quality gear. lol Only bad thing was I could only make one purchase per year. Think you might sell other stuff like a bigger sub or amps down the road if the car audio biz picks up?

I'm building my site right now. After I get it laid out it will be posted there, it's gonna be offered in 2 form's
1)I'm working with Lethal Performance to make an exact version of my cooling mod
2)I will also offer an on the cheap cooling mod that use's a modified brass freeze plug

Both will use 5/8" hose for more flow and will connect to the rear of the engine, when installed it will be completely out of site

Travis, I will probably end up doing the cooling mod sometime this year once you get things up and running. Just need to bribe ImpalaSlayer with something so he will install it for me. lol
