What is the minimum & maximum percentage we can vary on tire size before the traction control sensor picks up a signal ?

    IIRC, it's between 3% and 6%.

Minimum is 3% difference between front & rear..... Rears need to be bigger. There is no maximum.

    Going off stock size tires.
    235/50-18 is 27.3" tall
    245/55-18 is 28.6" tall

So you need the rear tire at least 1.3" taller than the front.
