    oem rear shocks

    Does anyone know the part number of the rear shocks that came on our MM's I purchased shocks from the Ford dealer and they don't look anything like the originals. will they work on my Marauder, and will they be OK on a 2007 cvpi. Any info appreciated

    Since the rears are the rears end assemblies are basically the same I'd say yes the shocks will work.

    There are aftermarket shocks that work better and less costly.

    IIRC, the factory shocks are getting hard to come by.

    I went with Monroe Severe Service struts and shocks on my car and have been pleased with them so far. Firm, but not harsh.

    The OE shocks that start with 7W have the exact same performance as the old 3W and 4W. They do look completely different, but I assure you the function is identical. The OE manufacturer got Ford approval to change the design to be common with F-150/Explorer.
