That's what I was going for.
The '70 is the one that had been advertised in Marauders for sale a few weeks ago. As soon as I got the pictures of it I was in Council Bluffs, IA two days later with cash to look at it. My friend and I took it for a drive but it had a really bad flat spot in the carb during acceleration so I left it for the owner to sort out and put down some earnest money. After two weeks my son and I went back to get it and wouldn't you know that less than 10 miles down the interstate it over heated. It went back to the owner's and he put a lower temp thermostat in it. On the third try, my friend and I made it all the way back to I-70 east of Lawrence, Ks when we got into road construction of one lane traffic, cars pulled over in the heat of 103F and bumper to bumper traffic. It over heated again. After pulling in to a service area and letting it cool off we started out again and made it to the toll both and the idiot light came on again. Finally when we got moving again it stayed off. On top of all this the AC was not working and the heat wouldn't shut off! My friend really came through by driving it in these conditions. I've had the radiator cleaned and repaired and am now trying to get the AC going. It needs an expansion valve and new drier. Also had it recharged with Freeze 12. The heater valve also has been taken care of.
