I noticed that some times while driving that the battery light would flash for a quick sec but when look at my volt meter it's fine. The battery is practically new and I just replaced my belt as well. Could the alternator be going bad??

When does it flash? Is it during parking, heavy steering, idling, or regular driving?

And also i was turning a corner and the car cut off but it started back up tho.

Loose battery cables or alternator belt maybe? Hopefully it's that simple!

Well I dunno the cables are tight belt is new. The alternator looks old I'm just go ahead and replace it.
