    I.A.C. Motor RPM too High?

My Check Engine Light keeps coming on when I WOT? I've replaced the I.A.C. Motor with a OEM Motor Craft one. The light went out but keeps coming on again. When I hook up the scanner it always says the same thing. I.A.C. Motor RPM too high? Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem?

Whats the actual mileage on your car? Just wondering if your intake may be dirty and the ports for the IAC are clogged or have build up to the point where it may act similar to a bad IAC.

I doubt it's your IAC then. That 900 will drop as it relearns also.

Well when I first start the car the RPM is about 1100 then it takes about 15 sec. To drop to 900.
