toolbox options for Pick n Pull?

Hi all,

Back when I started going to pick n pull, it fast became necessary to get something to carry my tools in. And the number of tools I carry has grown. So I first started with carrying stuff in my pockets, then in a small toolbox, then in a tote bag, and now one of those opening tool carryalls with the shoulder strap. However, its too heavy still and hurts my back.

So I've noticed some of the guys at Pick n Pull and at work have this toolbox that has wheels and an extending handle. Similiar to the luggage style. However, when I've looked at Wal-mart, Target, Sears, etc. no one has anything like that.

Where do they sell them? I need to lug my tools around Pick n Pull without hurting my back.

Harbor Freight might have something too. I seem to remember seeing something there
once.
Anyway Impala Slayer has a good source for a box and it is Standly Tools as well.

Something like that. Although the link is to one that is quite a bit more elaborate than the ones that I've seen. The ones that I've seen is more simple and more like a regular square toolbox but has wheels and then a handle that extrends up. You tilt it to push or pull it. Just like the luggage most people use today. Heck, even bookbags my neices and nephews use have the extending handle so you can wheel the bag behind you. I remember breaking my back in school with an old fashioned book bag.

The other day at work, I saw the electrician had one. I should have asked where he got it.

Maybe I'll try a search online for a good example.

Just remember your pulling or pushing through a Yard and inbewteen cars, so the wheels need to be very sturdy. JMHO

I have a rinky dink little tool box that I carry around, and then keep most tools in my truck... if I see something I need/want and need the extra tools, I head back with a wheel barrel. 2 dollars for the entrance is a small price to pay instead of carrying a hundred pounds of tools around

Its funny, my Mom and Dad got me one like that (maybe even smaller) for Christmas in 2004 and it wouldnt fit in the trunk of my 2004 GTO. I got so pissed off I sold the GTO and bought my Marauder! True story.

Have to say the front seat of the GTO seemed more roomy than the MM. The trunk though was about the size of one set of clubs because they had to relocate the gas tank to meet US safety regs. I was steaming mad when I had to return the tool box. Also, at this point Ill brag and say since Ive lost 115 pounds I could even fit in a Fiat 500 if so inclined!
