    SB 2003 in North Carolina

Regrettably, the time has come to sell my Marauder. Need something more practical and with lower fuel costs for my daily commute and I can't justify keeping it, even as happy as I've been with the car. So, the basics--

-2003 300B, Silver Birch with Light Flint interior. Build date 05/29/2003.

-119,223 miles as it sits right now.

-Stock except for a K&N cone filter/intake tube.

-I've owned the car since 11/2006 @ 42,000 miles. 2 previous owners. Clean title & carfax. VIN 2MEHM75V63X704616.

-Very good condition overall. Exterior has a few small scratches and one noticeable ding in the rear passsenger fender (dime-sized at most), interior has a worn driver's side floormat and a few small leather imperfections. Despite the best of care, these things happen over 8 years of daily use. Paint is glossy, no peeling or bubbling issues. No accidents, no rust (we see very little road salt here in NC). Alloys are in excellent shape.

-Spark plugs and #1 cyl coil replaced, and transmission flushed, in 2011. Front tires replaced in 2011, rears in 2010. Plenty of tread left.

The Bad, or "common Marauder issues evident on this car"

-No radio reception, AM or FM, on my head unit. I generally just listen to CDs or to my iPod through a tape adapter anyway.

-Heated seats do not work. This may be a fuse or relay, to be investigated this weekend (it just got really cold here in the past two days). Also, the backlights on the heated seat buttons on the door panels flicker or don't work at all depending on the night.

-A/C blows out the heater/defrost vents. Probably seals in the EATC needing replacement, though I suppose it could less likely be the blend door actuator.

Lots of photos avaiable here (none of them very recent, will take some current photos this weekend): http://www.flickr.com/photos/1124816...7607658381843/

Asking $7750. I'd be glad to answer any questions!

Most recent photo I have handy:

GLWS, looks nice and priced too cheap, especially as it is the best Marauder color

Too cheap? I was going by what I found as far as private party values, plus the mileage and the few issues that I mentioned...hmm. Haven't posted to Craigslist or Autotrader yet, maybe I need to adjust the price for those listings. Consider this price the mm.net special I guess--I'd much prefer to see the car go to someone on this forum than Joe off the street.

As someone who may soon be selling their 04 SB with about the same miles, you are priced too low. The few probs you mention are easy fixes, especially if it is just the o-rings in the EATC which is a 30 minute repair at almost no expense. I'd be asking $9500.

I bought mine 18 months ago for $9k, cruise needed to be fixed and it had paint issues, but only 72k miles.

It's a buyers market right now, but I'd price yourself with room to negotiate. I'd start at $9k, be prepared to settle at $8

+1 on that. I currently have a '96 impala that I'm having a hard time selling. And it's price around kbb value.

So, there is one at a dealer in the state with almost identical mileage to mine for 8988. I doubt I should be at dealer-level prices. If I can get the EATC or the heated seats corrected over the holiday (got nothing done today, regretfully) might move upwards a little bit--the head unit can probably be sourced from a member here who has upgraded but I'm not going to mess with it at this point. Only other thing on the car that I'm aware of that needs attention is that wear is evident on the front shocks--definitely not unsafe but the ride gets rather rough on bad roads. It occurs to me that I meant to put that in the original post but didn't.

Still sitting at $7750 here because I don't want to jerk anyone around on the price and that's what I originally listed. Given the info that I now have, though, that is $7750 firm.

If you want to stop by I can take a look at the heated seats / switches and the EATC.
