    What is this unknown connector?

O great masters, save my pitiful butt. I was installing the on- off switch for the water injection unit and decided to mount it next to the switch that moves the foot pedels in and out, I got the panel off and found a connector with 5 wires coming out of it plugged into the back of the panel, what is it for, am I pre wired for traction control ? Also since I am computer iliterate where is the spell checker so I look like I learned something in school.Tom Doan.

Yep, that's it. Wiring harness includes wiring for Traction Control. I don't believe the rest of the elements are in place.

I read in anothe one of your posts, Mac, that there's even a light on the dash for traction control on 300A's. So, this begs the question -- if you ordered the other parts of traction control (switch on the dash, trim piece, control module, etc) could you install it, would it be costly, and more importantly, could you make it work?

And, is T/C something you would need if you lived in the South?

IMO although the Marauder 300A is wired for traction control it would be impossible to install. The cost would be prohibitive. Traction control is also effective on wet , sandy or oily roadways. I opted to wait for the U.S. 300B with traction control.

No. The remaining components for Traction control are not present, and the end result would not be worth the effort. The 300B trim panel comes with a switch installed, and that switch has an on/off light in it. I had imagined using this switch and parts of the wiring harness for another function, but I've abandoned that now.

The dash panel has a number of blank spots in it, where control lights could be added. With some careful wiring, these lights could be activated for other functions, but this too would be a labor of love.
