    Shelby GT500 vs Camaro ZL1 Dyno Test

    Looks like the Bowtie Boys are down 100 HP on the Dyno vs the Shelby GT500.....



    I like how the Chevy engine flops around in the engine compartment when they lift throttle....almost like it's embarrassed and wants to jump out of the Crapmaro....errrr....Camaro.
    The Shelby GT500's engine is solid....."like a rock".....

    Look at the sweet Shelby seats vs. the Camaro's tard seats.
    Laugh...errrr....Look at the Camaro's instrument cluster vs the Shelby GT500's instrumentation.
    Listen to how much nicer the GT500's exhaust sounds vs the Camaro's exhaust sound.

    6100 RPM redline S/C pushrod V8 with 497 RWHP (and a mullet)
    OR
    7000 RPM redline S/C DOHC V8 with 595 RWHP.....

    I'll take a Shelby GT500!

    Some people will post that I am beating on the still good Camaro.
    Well, I had to listen to the Chevy/Camaro guys beat on 2V and 3V Mustangs for years....now it's their turn in the barrel!
    I will thoroughly enjoy watching the Bowtie Boys squirm and grimace whenever someone points out how underpowered the 'almighty' ZL1 Camaro is compared to the Shelby GT500.

    And the base 5.0 Mustang is no slouch.
    Not to mention the BOSS 302....BADAZZ!....

    Not to nit-pick but the ZL-1 is built by Chevrolet and the Shelby's are built by Shelby, not Ford, correct?

    FORD'S SVT division builds the Shelbys.
    FORD pays Shelby a nice chunk of change to put his name on their cars.
    Supposedly Shelby had "some input" towards the design of the GT500.

    They build Cobras there and upgrade factory Mustangs to special editions like the GT1000, GT350, etc.
