    Rear Tires

I'm heading out now to have my rears replaced with Nitto Motiva's in stock size at Discount Tire.
I guess I may end up being a guinea pig with these but reviews seem to agree they're good tires.
I'll see how they work and after some time I'll offer my opinion.Of course how they wear may take a while.(unless I keep doing all that street racing, lol)

I've seen good review of the Motivos if you use your car as a commuter. They apparently do all things fairly well but if you like to push your car they might not be up to the task.

Looking forward to your thoughts on how they perform.

I am considering these for my car, what do you mean by beefier, wider?

I have them, I like them and they did well at Gingerman race track to boot. They seem quieter and more comfortable but then again I had cords coming through my BFGs so a stone wheel would have been an improvement.

To the OP I feel your pain!

I just put my new rears on! I have been running these goodyears for the past 4 years. And I absolutely love them! But goodyear stopped producing them!

I ran Firehawks on two of my vehicles for years, if the new series is as good as the old ones, these will be a great replacement option.

That's what I'm going with so as to match my fronts when my Dunlop Signatures rears are done.

I tried the Nitto Motivo ties Front & Back, but could not abide them. They were the worse riding and handling tire I've ever had.
I swapped them a few days later with a set of
    FALKEN ZE950. The
FALKEN ZE950 rode and handled very well. Smooth ride, great control and feel.

Newer tire threads than this one. Many of us feel that Cooper offers the best bang for the buck in stock sizes. Typically less than $600 for a full set installed. Zeon RS3 G1 series.
