    Shifts into OD w/OD off

I've had a recent intermittent issue where I turn OD off, accelerate heavily then it will shift into OD randomly. I've had it happen maybe 4 or 5 times i the last few months. Seems to be in speeds about 100. Last time I was at about 125 and just about the time I let off it shifted and the speedo dropped to about 100 for a quick second when it shifted. It's a rebuilt transmission with less than 20k on it. It was put in back in late January.

I see you have a Lidio tune.....he turns the TC lockup "OFF" in all but 4th gear and then only above 60 MPH!!

If you look at the shift curves in the tune you will see you cannot turn the TC lockup completely off so you just move it to above 100 MPH and call it a day since most folks drive below 100!! I believe WOT will hold the lockup off too??

I suppose it will even lock in 3rd above 100 MPH if it will go that fast in 3rd but it will most likely lockup in 4th above 100 MPH!!

Why the heck are you driving that fast anyway??

Lockup comes in around 90mph for me at WOT with my tune, I feel it at the end of the 1/4 when I run at the track. It feels like it shifted gears, buts its really the TC lockup.

    The OP's issue is normal.

Hmm, it's strange that I've never noticed it since recently and I've had the tune since the begining of march I think. Maybe my driving habits have changed.

It's only once in a while on the highway on a straight stretch. I work 3rd shift so there is never anyone around me when I do it.

If I didn't have the Nittos I probably wouldn't go that fast.
