Not sure about their synthetic but years ago their regular was supposidly made by Quakerstate, which I believe is now "recycled", but not sure who makes it now. I wish they still carried their own oil filters, they were pretty good quality for the price.

FoMoCo Blend is cheap enough. That is what I run in all but one of my cars.

FWIW, I've been reading the Blackstone newsletters for a few years now. They basically state that they've yet to see a modern oil that is bad for an engine.

That said, I still have my favorites....

If I read it right, Wally World prolly buys from multiple suppliers (that's their normal procedure), so the answer to your question is most likely, "yes"...

    BITOG loves acronyms...

It's generally accepted that east of the mighty Mississip, the supplier is XOM, and west is WPP, although as Rex said that can change.

Not sure about other areas but here in So. Fla. Motorcraft oil is getting scarce in Wally World. I've gone to three different stores and the most I've seen is 3 bottles of 5- W30 and 4 / 5 qt jugs of 5- w20 (2 which I picked up). Curious if anyone else has noticed this.

I use either Mobile 1 or Ford full synthetic.

One of the reasons ST synthetic is inexpensive is that Wally doesn't have a ludicrous marketing budget to support, like the majors do. The other reason is that the additive pack isn't top-tier...the oil is blended to a price point, not a quality point.

While there's nothing wrong with ST synthetic oil, I would hesitate to run it in a blown Marauder, 'jack. In the Slowmobile, sure.

I know Mobil 1 has got expensive ,just loaded up on Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic on sale at K-Mart for $ 3.99 quart ,try and get that price on Mobil 1. I was using Mobil 1 for at least 7 years by the way.

Well.....I went with the Mobil I oil for my 245K mile oil change since the Pennzoil was the exact same price for the 5 quart jug......$24.97!! Mobil I has gotten me this far so why change??

I'll use the Wally-World stuff in the truck......BTW, they were even out of it!!

    Thanks for all the replies!!
