Part Numbers and Prices listed below.
    Included Components and Features

    • Increases street or racing fuel pump output by 50+%
    • Advanced, state of art microcontroller design and SMD layout for high reliability.
    • Microprocessor controlled voltage output. Provides stable voltage to fuel pump, regardless of battery input voltage.
    • Fused (40a) input simplifies installation and provides pump protection.
    • Multi-phase circuitry for maximum (> 90%) efficiency.
    • Extruded aluminum housing designed for superior thermal management.

    Operating specifications

    • Input: 8-16v
    • Power Output: 600W - 17v at 35a typical (comparable to competing "40a" units)
    • Maximum ambient environment operating temperature: 212° F

5A102-029: Programmable Maxflow Fuel Pump Booster

PROGRAMMABLE unit allows desired voltage output curve to fuel pump to be set (download FuelAmp software). Installation wires and components included.

    • Specifically designed for use on 2011-2012 Mustang GT, but can also be used as a universal assembly
    • USB interface
    • MAP input
    • Internal Solid State relay prevents current draw with key off and eliminates need for external relay or passing high current through smaller stock relays and wires.
    • Unique "pass-through" circuitry allows normal system voltage output when unit is not triggered to boost voltage
    • Fully programmable voltage and current protection
    • Two digital or analog inputs
    • Fully mapped voltage with MAP or digital/analog inputs allow for unique flexibility in programming voltage output
    • Data logging ability [software development in process]
    • Wiring and installation components included

5A102-030: Non-Programmable Maxflow Fuel Pump Booster

NON-PROGRAMMABLE unit increases output to fuel pump to 18 volts. Installation wires and components included.

    • Fixed voltage output configuration (on-board offset adjustability)
    • Efficient design for performance and durability

PN Description Price Select 5A102-029 Maxflow Fuel Pump Booster, PROGRAMMABLE. Allows desired voltage output curve to fuel pump to be set. Installation wires and components included. $469.95
5A102-030 Maxflow Fuel Pump Booster, NOT PROGRAMMABLE. Increases output to fuel pump to 18 volts. Installation wires and components included. $259.95

    BOOST-A-PUMP™

    • STREET (17.5V) • COMPETITION (20V)

% gain depends on what voltage current pump is operating (12-13.5V). Gains will be apprx 75% (17.5) and 100% 20V (see tests)

A time tested and proven Kenne Bell innovation, the BOOST-A-PUMP™, powers some of the world’s most powerful production street and competition vehicles. The 800HP Shelby Super Snake, one of the World’s Fastest Production Sport Cars, the 242+mph 806HP Koenigsegg CCR, the dual turbo 1100HP Lingenfelter 427" Corvette 900HP Mr. Norm Dodge and 650-825HP RPO Camaros and, of course, all the legendary Kenne Bell kits can use the BOOST-A-PUMP™ to reliably produce those big HP numbers - on pump gas! It activates only at full throttle or boost, so it doesn’t “bloat” or “overload” the fuel system at idle or cruise where full time pumps and extra fuel are not required. So, the fuel isn’t heated (gasoline begins to boil at 87°). No “cool can” is necessary. And it’s much easier to install (cut one wire) and more reliable than fuel pumps. And since the BAP is also a voltage regulator (exclusive kb) it helps prevent engine damage from low voltage/ reduced pump flow during electrical overload or failure. It will attempt to stabilize the pump voltage and maintain sufficient fuel flow.

Id would go with KB bap, Simply cause so many are in use & they are pretty reliable. On the other hand though if possible Id rather not use one at all.

I have never been a BAP person myself... just never heard of the vortec model... kinda snuck up on me...

Im just asking as a general Question I personally don't use a BAP either... Just 2 GT fuel pumps, 2 mod'd FPDM's,upsized fuel & wiring sizes

I use a BAP without problems. But im getting to the power levels where return style just makes sense.

My BAP is probably 6 years and 65,000 miles old. Never given me any issues if that helps. Not sure if it matters but I do not have mine set up to run constant.

I've got 2+ years and about 20K on mine, and no issues either.

Both my mustangs have BAP's. Work great. I've also installed about 10 of them with no issues on their cars.

I like the vortech one cuz it's easy. No control knob to mess around with mine.

A better option is to install a pump that can flow the fuel required, like a 340lph.

I'm all for reducing the number of components, not adding them.
