    50 years of Mercury Marauders - part 1

    It was 50 years ago this very week, maybe even today, that the first pre-production Mercury Marauders were being built and tested by Ford engineers. I don't know exactly when it happened, but the earliest fastback Galaxie I ever heard of was built on January 7, 1963. The Marauder would not have been far behind.
    1963 Marauder S-55, Super Marauder 406
    Only factory 406 powered Marauder, and earliest built Marauder documented to still exist.
