How much hp/tq would this combo be?

Having Stainless Works exhaust and doing an Eaton Swap with a 2lb. lower and 3.00 upper (metco), where do you think I would end up as far as hp/tq?

You may want to reconsider that upper pulley size with a two lb lower, that's going to give you some pretty big boost (like 15+).

I'd recommend staying with a stock lower, or if you go with a 2 lb lower, using maybe a stock (3.6") or 3.4" upper.

I'm running a stock upper and 2 lb lower and that's good for just under 11 lbs boost, 430 hp/428tq.

Boost might even lower with the exhaust???

Which would be good for the stock motor.

Yes, free flowing exhaust will lower the boost pressure while increasing the horsepower. Efficiency is a wonderful thing.

Still researching and collecting the last few parts. It will be late fall or winter this year when I start. Want to take the car to the strip and run it n/a to see what it does. Your gathering the parts too! How far are you in your hunt?

While that seems to be the "magic" #, I was @ 472 RWHP on a stock motor for over a year, somewhere around 11lbs of boost.

How much hp/tq would this combo be?

Zack was around 490 for a couple years on a stock block till he upgraded.

I've been at 466 for almost two years with no issues. I am bored with that and upgraded myself to play it safe.

Most here know how him and I drive our cars.

H.P. has very little to do with remodeling a block compared to AFR, timing, and boost pressure. Not too mention centri's can push them safely into the very high 400's.

Yea that would be a great comparison, and fun too. I would be interested in running to a drag strip with ya. I'm not very far at alli wish I could just drop the car off and have someone else do it. I hardly have the time.

^^^^^^ Yup. Too much timing and not enough fuel makes 'em go BOOM, even at much lower HP.
