    FRPP 31-spline traclok with Cobra Clutches

    A local friend of mine is selling his BNIB diff for $220 (retail is $250), just checking to see if anyone is looking for one especially if your local to Maryland, South PA or Northen VA.

    Chris, what is the advantage of this setup? can I use it with 4.10 gears?

    You can use it with 4.10's but you'll need 31 spline axles.

    31 spline axles are much stronger than the OEM 28 spline.

    There really isn't much benefit with being around stock power levels unless your current axles and diff go up then it's wise to just spend a little more and upgrade to a 31-spline unit.

    I am still using my stock 28-spline axles, everything else has been changed though.

    for sheer emergency/contingency preparedness, this is a great deal. there are no issues with my splines (right now), but this just seems like a logical piece to keep so if/when I upgrade or need it, it's there...

    unfortunately trying to convince my wife is a whole other matter.

    would he take $200 straight up?

    You would also need 31-spline axles to make this diff work down the road.
