    same on all four-what size?

    I want to run same size on all 4 but don't know what size to get. I want to lower the car too, by about an inch by cutting springs, so this adds a layer to my decision. I've read of at least 4 different sizes that guys are using;

    255/45/18
    255/50/18
    255/55/18
    245/55/18

I'm a completely stock 300B. Recommendations anyone? Thanks.

Note to self - turn off TC, lol.

If you've got a 300B, T/C doesn't like the same size tires on all four corners. You'll definitely need to turn off your T/C whenever you start up the car or else you'll have issues. I ran 245/55's for about 2 years, 255/55 will rub on the front at full lock left or right turn.

I run 245x50 michelin all the way around on my dd and i love it. Handles much much better and less tire / road noise. When i drive one of the other with stock bfg don't like the feel at and want to buy tires

I have 255/45/18's on the front with cut coils, and have never had a problem, with the exception of a steep entrance, or exit to parking areas, I also just changed from 285/50/18's on the rear to 295/45/18's.

If you don't have a tuner you will need one to correct speedo. Should have one anyway big improvement. If you are not looking for max power get a plan one that will improve power and gas mileage

At one time I had 225/60-18 all around. They are the same height as the 245/55-18 and 295/45-18.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

Im lowered running 245/45/18 up front and 255/45 rear. Of your options I would run 255/45/18 all the way around. 255/45 fit well, looks great, and handling is greatly improved over the taller tires.

Several good possibilities I'm seeing here. Not that easy of a decision as I hoped it would be. If I go with 255/45 all around, I just wonder about the gap in the rear. /There might be a joke there somewhere. But then again, since I'm lowering, I would expect gap to be a non issue and an overall good fit/look. Decisions, decisions...Thanks again for the input, got more reading to do before I pull the trigger.

I have the 255/45 on all four w/just over one full coil cut off the front springs and the rear ride height sensor adjusted all the way to the stops for the lowest height in the rear. The frame rails sit level and the gaps look good - some pictures in my gallery in the photo section.

No rubs and never a problem w/ABS and since mine's an '03 300a - no traction control.
The 27" dia tires effectively lower the gear ratio too.
The lowered rear also takes a lot of weight off the front end which is very noticable in the hard corners as well.
I've been very happy with it over the last 6 years.

Now you've got me thinking. My car has new Coopers so when they're done I might have to change to what you've got. I find the stock rear tires have too much sidewall making it "loose" feeling as compared to my Marquis that has 245/50/17's all around.
