I just discovered that my R axle seal is leaking. Gears were done about 45 days ago. I had the gear install kit installed with the gears.
How difficult is it to replace the r side axle seal and if anyone has a step by step I could possibly do it.

That is the 1st thing in the morning. Sent them an email already and I expect them to do the right thing and if not I will just fix it or have it done.
Do you suppose a couple of burnouts could haave done it? Never have before, popped a few wheel cylinders on drum brakes in the 70's though

Probably leaking from day 1 then
if the vent tube is plugged will the axle seals leak on one side or both or could it be either left or right

This is easily caused by resting the axle half in/half out. Seen it many times. If it was a reputable shop I'm quite sure they would already know that's a no-no and it may just be a bad seal altogether. Basically it's hard to prove. Easy job regardless, but still sucks.

No, I'm sure they would have. But while they were setting up the diff, they may have rested the shafts in the housing after already doing the bearings and seals. Seen plenty of bad seals as well. That's just one of those things you can't really lay blame on. Most shops I know would just replace it to keep in good standing and never question it. They'll probably take care of it.

Axle vent tube...black hose is not blocked. The port on the axle, is it a type of pressure relief valve? I stuck a small plastic rod in there and it came to a stop about an inch down.

mine is leakng also on the rear passanger and when i did a burnout only one tire is spining would that cause the problem also
One has nothing to do with the other.
The leak is a bad seal. The "one-wheel peel" is worn clutches in the Trak Loc.
