    It pains me to do this, I haven't been on the forum long and y'all are a great group. This forum has been very helpful in me rebuilding this car to near perfect condition, IMO. I really wanted to keep this car a long time, but I have lots of unexpected medical bills for my son and need to get out of debt. This was a dream car of mine, and it's an extra car now, so of course it's the first to go. I shall have another...someday.

    4.6L DOHC V8
    I bought the car in August of 2012 with 103,000 miles and started the work:
    Cylinder Heads rebuilt (valves, guides, lifters , hardened valve seats, etc)
    Replaced all timing chains, guides, tensioners, & gaskets. (Complete Engine reseal at time of work)
    Even Flow Cylinder Head Cooling Mod

    All new Firestone Firehawk Tires, new brakes all around (about 6,000 miles on them)

    New Serpentine Belt and Tensioner Assy

    New Motorcraft Alternator

    Replaced rear end with 4.10 ring and pinion and new Ford Carbon Clutch Kits, new bearings and seals

    Replaced Stock Subwoofer w/ Kicker Shallow Mount 6.5”

    New Interstate MT-65 Battery

    Lokar Flexible Engine Dipstick

    Resealed entire transmission, front seal, pump seal, selector shaft seal, pan gasket, output shaft seal installed TransGo shift kit at this time

    EGR Delete
    JLT Cold Air Intake
    Flow Master Delta 50’s

    Custom Tune (SCT XCal3) from Mo’s Speed Shop

    Replaced Windshield

    Replaced Temp Blend Door Actuator

    Trunk organizer

    Full Size Spare w/ OE painted alloy wheel

    I paid $9500 for one with bad paint, fewer mods, less maintenance and *still* felt I got a good deal a year ago. This is nuts.

    GLWS, but you shouldn't need it. Great price.

    Yeah tell me about it, I paid 8500 for her needing all of the work I did. I think it's all about timing of the purchase. I knew I wanted one for so long, I just had to have her and couldn't walk away. Although, I feel like I got a good deal when I got her just because of how cool these are. We appreciate these cars for what they are, others just think they're a "modded" or "pimped out" CV or GM. Oh well.

    Me too. I can still come to a breakfast without a MM right? lol I'm not really wanting to part with her yet. It's kind of a "have to" thing right now. Once I get my finances figured out, I'll have another one day. I LOVE this car.

    I really would love to sell it to a member on here, just so I know she's going to a good home. Plus, the first important mods are done!!
