    Good evening
    Attached is a word document spelling out the itinerary as well as links to the various venues. I have also included addresses to be pre programmed into GPS.
    For those that may not be able to open a word document, you can also find the itinerary below, however I thought it would be easier for formatting to have in a word document to print. We look forward to welcoming all of you.
    Wednesday September 18th-
    Arrival, welcome to Atlanta

    Thursday September 19th
    Breakfast-Hotel
    Depart Hotel 10:00a for Atlanta Motor Speedway
    At theSpeedway, we will have photo opportunities, as well as we will be turning laps as a group. This will include 10 laps, and there will be an option for individuals to purchase more laps on their own

    Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly Atlanta International Raceway) is a track just outside Hampton, Georgia, twenty miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. It is a 1.54-mile (2.48 km) quad-oval track with a seating capacity of over 125,000. It opened in 1960 as a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) standard oval. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. In 1997, to standardize the track with Speedway Motorsports' other two 1.5-mile (2.4 km) ovals, the entire track was almost completely rebuilt. The frontstretch and backstretch were swapped, and the configuration of the track was changed from oval to quad-oval. The project made the track one of the fastest on the NASCAR circuit.

    For those interested, Drag Racing will be available this evening and depending on interest we will arrange for leaders to take groups up. It is approximately a 25-30 minute drive from the Hotel and Commerce is the Host of the Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout.
