I minored in economics in college. Despite the deflationary pressure and less ability of the populace to pay, I've mostly seen prices go up (i.e. groceries, tools, clothes, memberships in just about any kind of club, new automobiles, used automobiles at least in California) etc. etc.). lol I guess if you sell each for more, then the less people you care about buying it if you still make the same profit.
