Hello all! My name is Anthony as you can probably tell from my username, and I am active on a couple other forums so some of you may already know me.
I've been a Panther fan for as long as I could remember, even having Hot Wheels & Matchbox ones when I was a kid. When I turned 17, I traded in my near mint '79 Cordoba that I had acquired at 16 straight across for a hammered '89 Town Car and almost everyone thought I lost my marbles...but I was hooked. Several boxes, aeros, and a couple whales later...I currently drive an '04 Grand Marquis with nothing too special about it, but its always as spotless as a DD can be.
First time I saw one of the modern Marauders, I remember just absolutely falling in love. A teacher at my high school bought one brand new my senior year (Class of '03!) and after drooling over it every day I promised myself I'd somehow get one. I've worked at car lots since I was 17, and you wouldn't believe that even being in the business how hard it is to acquire some cars...I'm currently an assistant manager for a large chain of local dealers here and its still hard to do. But I'm detirmined still...want to find that unmolested, all original one, I can continue to baby myself. Over the years I have acquired all the 03-04 Marauder ads, brochures, DVD, and other memorabilia I can find...recently even won one of the Marauder owners leather jackets in my size and with the garment bag! So I'm ready...lol.
I look forward to becoming more knowledgable about these cars as well as make friends and connections with the few local owners I see around here. Have made some great ones in the Panther world in general already.
