The 5th installment is a special one......
First up. Brownline Metal Works - When this box showed up at my house, I was amazed at how heavy it was for the size box..... Then I found out what was inside.... Torque Wrenches!!! 2 of em! Guys these are very nice tools. Ergonomic sturdy. I have no idea what they sell for but I can't imagine they are cheap. So hats off to the folks at Brownline for supporting our event. Two attendee's are gonna be very happy with these tools
TCE Performance - This requires some set up so bear with me.... A lot of members know or at least know of Todd at TCE.... The guy is an encyclopedia on performance braking. Never mind the fact that he has helped many a member here with everything from Stainless Brake Lines to 4 corner Wilwood Braking systems that will scrub speed quicker than you can say speed trap. Get it? Good
So earlier this morning I sent out a PM to our vendors explaining what I believe was an unfortunate oversight with regards to Vendor solicitation/participation for the event less than 2 weeks away.... Not intending anything other than "if you were expecting contact before now, please forgive the disconnect"...... Long story short? Todd pings me back and donates 2 - $100 gift certificates towards TCE Performance products. Its humbling to receive that kind of support from a vendor as busy as Todd is, but then he has always been there for us.
We appreciate all you do and the knowledge you share
LJI372 & VIP Precision Machining - Here is another one of those unexpected moments that really makes working on events like Marauderville an awesome experience...... Tonight while getting ready to post up an earlier Raffle update, out of the blue I get a PM from Jerry.... He tells me that he and his company VIP Precision Machining want to donate a Gods head engraved cot plugl http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jK8lgjQx_MM How cool is that!!!Suffice to say, Jerry could have said nothing, and we would have never thought anything of it, but he didn't and now the Marauderville attendee's will have a chance to win a raffle for this really cool and unique accessory for our Marauders.
Once again, thank you to these vendors and members for contributing to this very special "thing of ours". Marauderville XI Folks, the welcome mat is outside the door....

Come clean, dirty for some or all. Drag Racing, AMS or shopping at the mall.. We look forward to an awesome time with enthusiasts friends and vendors, especially Saturday with all the "contenders"... The ribs will be on the grill, grudges and spinning tires will surely thrill... Afterwards, the libations well there.... On an endless "chill".
So to all, the Southern Marauders say Welcome.... We see ya comin... Just over that "hill"
